EMEDEX, LLC (formerly Health Care Business Services) was founded in 1988 by Ginger A. Ryder and Valley Medical Center Emergency Physician group. In 2005 EMEDEX, LLC was formed and today we serve clients in Washington, California and Hawaii.
Ginger A. Ryder,
President, CMPE, CHBME, CPC
Ms. Ryder a founding member of EMEDEX, LLC (formerly HCBS) in 1988 and
is currently the President and functions as the Coding and Compliance
manager. She brings 20 plus years of experience to the business and oversees
the billing, coding, and client support managers. She is a Certified
Professional Coder; a member of the Medical Group Management Association;
a member of the American College of Medical Practice Executives; Radiology
Business Management Association; a Certified Healthcare Billing and Management
Executive and she has her Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration.
Deborah Porter, Billing Operations & Compliance Manager
Ms. Porter manages the day to day operations of the Billing Department. She has a Bachelor degree in Business with a major in Healthcare Administration. Ms. Porter has 20 plus years of experience in the healthcare industry and has specific knowledge of revenue cycle management. She is currently a member of MGMA and HFMA.
Jody Swift, Client
Support Services Manager
Mrs. Swift is our Client Support Services Manager and has twenty plus
years of experience in medical billing and office management. She graduated
from the American Institute of Business and has continuing education
certificates in Communication, Accounts Receivable Refinement and Maximum
Reimbursement focuses.
Terrie
Gardin, Billing Support & Training Supervisor
Mrs. Gardin is our lead training
and education supervisor for our billing department. She has been with
EMEDEX, LLC for 15 years and has extensive experience in the medical
billing field.
